I declare “yay!” about this. It’s a new LCD with a 20 degree swivel on the base and a built in headphone jack, a nice upgrade over my last one. That one had RCA outs, but I had to make a cable chain for that. RCA to 1/8th inch hooked up to a Y-split, with the TV out on one end and the headphones on the other. A little lossy on the signal, alas. But now, native support!
Also an advantage in Arizona, I can adjust the backlights. Apparently it runs at 29% power when they’re off, which is nice. Particularly at night, or during expensive time of use when I don’t need more than incidental brightness.
Of course, now I’ll have an inability to sleep properly because I started to adjust to the somewhat disconnected sound of computer speakers off to the side and the sound ending after 90 minutes.
Can’t win ‘em all.
